It makes the same stitch as the Wheeler and Wilson, will also make the Grover and Baker Stitch, the Wilcox and Gibbs Stitch, and is readily changed from one kind of stitch to another. It will make beautiful Embroidery, and stitch it on at the same time, on the right or upper side of the fabric, which is an insuperable diffi- ' culty with the Grover and Baker Machine. It ordinarily makes the Wheeler and Wilson Lock Stitch. It can easily be converted into a Grover and Baker Machine. It can easily be altered into a Wilcox and Gibbs Machine. OPINIONS OF THE PRESS. The Adjustable Belgravia Stitch is executed by an arrangement which to the eyes of all must appear almost magical.—The Queen, May 16, 1868. The * Adjustable Belgravia' is a simple Wheeler and Wilson Ma- chine largely improved, and will, to a certainty, at no distant day, be- come tlie most poTDular of Sewing Machines.—Neivcasile Daily Journal, July 9th, 1868. Certainly the most perfect and complete of its kind is that known as the * Adjustable Belgravia Machine,' its work ranging frorn tho sim- plest stitching to the most elaborate and finished embroidery. — See Mechanics' Magazine, January 31, 1868. The 'Belgravia' is a marvel in the range of its performances.— Morning Star, ixxno 15, 1868. Marvellous excellence.— Courier. It has no equal. — West London Advertiser. The improvements will be readily a])preciated by those who are accustomed to any ma- chine —Englishwoman's Domestic Magazine^ J^dy, 1868. The ' Belgravia' Sewing Machine was exhibited at the converza- tione of Civil Engineers, and was much adm.ired for its simplicity and the beauty of the w^ork produced. There are numerous patented appli- ances which are very useful, and make the machine better adapted for all kinds of household work, whether liuht or heavy, being all so many aids to the opsrator.—T/<e Mxmufacturer, June 13, 1868.
