![U.S.P. Alcoholic extract of belladonna 2, diluted al- cohol 1, benzoated lard 41. Mix the extract and alcohol until soft, then mix in the lard. Ungfuentum Calaminse. N.F. Turner s cerate. Cala- mine 16.^, ointment (U.S.P.) 83^. Mix. Ungfuentum Campliorse. C. Fommade camphree. Coarsely lasped camphor 30, white wax 10, lard 90. Melt the wax and lard, add the camphor, stir until nearly cold. ]N'.r. Camphor 22, white wax 11, lard 67. Melt wax and lard with gentle heat, then add camphor and stir till cold. Unguentum Camplioratum. A. Powdered camphor 2, wax ointment 8. Mix, warm to dissolve the camphor, then stir until cold. Ung'uentiiin Cantharidis. B.P. Cantharides bruised 1, benzoated lard 10. Melt the lard, add the cantharides, and digest at about 120° F. (49° C.) for 12 hours; strain through calico and press gently. Unguentum Cantharidis Luteum. C. Fommade epi- spastique jaune. Cantharides in coarse powder 60, lard 840, yellow wax 120, powdered turmeric 4, oil of lemon 4. Digest the cantharides in the lard for four hours, occasionally stirring, let stand, decant, add the turmeric, digest for an hour, filter through paper on hot-water funnel, heat gently, add the wax, and stir until nearly cold; then add the lemon oil. Ung'uentiLm Cantharidis Viride. C. Fommade epi- spastique verte. Cantharides in fine powder 1, populeum ointment 28, yellow^ wax 4. Melt the wax with the oint- ment, add the powder gradually, and stir until nearly se^. Unguentum Cantharidum. Ph.G. SpanlscJiJliegensahel, Oil of cantharides 3, yellow wax 2. Melt. Unguentum Cantharidum pro Usu Veterinario. A., 1891. Cantharides in moderately fine powder 2, olive oil 4. Digest for 10 hours on steam-bath with occasional stirring; then add yellow wax 1, turpentine 2, to the melted mass, removed from heat, add powdered euphor- bium resin, and stir till cold. Unguentum Capsici. B.P. Capsicum fruit bruised 6, spermaceti 3, olive oil 22.
