During the year 139 cases were notified tO' me. For the previous year there were 201 cases; in 1913, 221; and 1912, 357. The character of the disease was certainly of a mild type, and there were no deaths. The peeling in many cases was very slight, and as so many cases have no rash when coming to the Hospital, the after-effects point very often to the idea that Rubella was the disease, and not true Scarlet Fever. I had a few cases sent to me in the peeling state by teachers, and there were some at home in the same condition, but the other memberSi of the family were not attacked; in fact, I feel more anxious about the Otorrhcea and Rhinitis, as I certainly consider there are more cases when that remains, and it is there that the infection lies. The following table shows those notified, admitted to Hospital, and deaths for the past five years : — Year. No. Notified. To Hospital.
