![937. Glazed steatite Scarab, faded to grey, of type G 2. On the base is cut a rosette composed of two petals and two cartouches, containing the prenomen of Thothmes III, with four uraei. XVIIIth-XIXth dynasty. Length, f in. [No. 46916.] 938. Blue glazed steaschist Plaque, with rounded ends. On the obverse is inscribed the prenomen of THOTHMES III, in a cartouche, beneath the winged sun and above a Hathor-head with uraei. On the reverse is a rosette of two petals and four uraei. XVIIIth dynasty. Length, in. [No. 28610.] 939. Blue-green glazed steatite Scarab, of type A 3, on the base of which is cut a rosette of four uraei, knotted together, in the centre. At each end is a scorpion ; above the centre is inscribed “Men-kheper-Ra (Thothmes III),” and below it 53, “ Lord of the Two Lands.” Fine work. XVII Ith dynasty. Length, f in. Glazed steatite Scarab, faded to grey, of type G 4, on the base of which is cut a figure of a winged uraeus before a cartouche containing the prenomen of THOTHMES III ; between them are the signs —Co, and beyond the uraeus is the neb-sign. Blue-green glazed steatite Scarab, of type A 3, coarsely cut, inscribed with the prenomen of Thothmes III, Men-kheper-Ra, in a cartouche, with a disked uraeus at the side. XVIIIth dynasty. Length, § in. [No. 41859.] 942. Glazed steatite Scarab, faded to white, of type G 4. On the base are cut an uraeus and a demi-cartouche, containing the prenomen of Thothmes III. XVIIIth dynasty.
