A Plate, circular, grey jade with two bands of hollowed floral design for the setting of jewels, 54 ¢n. diam. - A Plate, circular with scalloped rim, mottled jade, has been decorated with gold floral design, nearly worn away, 7 77. diam., very thinly fashioned ; and a Bowl, similar, 62in. diam. (2) A pair of jade Plaques, oblong quadrangular, hollowed floral design for the setting of jewels, 7 7n. by 22 in. (2) An emerald jadeite Plaque, oblong quadrangular, cushion 9 a , 3h in. by 24 in. A chalcedony Bow], cloudy, 1272. high by 44 in. diam. A chaleedony Cup, 27n. high, and Saucer, 34 in. diam. (2) An Indian Silver Box. This Box of exceptionally beautiful design and workman- ship was left unfinished when theartist craftsman died. It is oval, the sides are pierced with a flat design of bands of leafy scrolls enclosing a broad band of ovals each with a scrolled border, the centres filled with various kinds of birds and animals. The top and base are slightly domed, chased and pierced with outer borders of vine leaves atid grajes, enclosing a broader border of foliated interlaced scrolls issuing from the mouths of some mythological creatures, two of which full-size are engaged in combat witha lion in relief, in the central panel of one side, while ou the reverse side a similar panel bears a hawk attacking two wild birds, 2 7n. high by 4% in. by 84 in. ; in case (2)](https://iiif.wellcomecollection.org/image/b31666097_0024.jp2/full/800%2C/0/default.jpg)
