It is founded on synthetic experiments, in which eleven different mixtures of alcohol and water were made, containing respectively 0-5, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, S, 9, and 10 per cent, of alcohol by weight. The alcohol employed had a specific gravity of 0793S at 6o° F. Absolute Alcohol by weight in measures of Alcohol and Water of different Specific Gravities. Specific gravity at-6o° F.
