Description
A film examining the causes and treatment of talipes (clubfoot). Features a case of severe double talipes in a 3-week old child; thought to be caused by the intra-uterine position before birth. Diagrams show how manipulations can correct the problem and a manipulation is demonstrated. The use of a splint and binding is demonstrated and the effectiveness of the treatment is assessed two months later. Appearance is shown again at nine months after daily treatment. Other cases are also shown.
