Va- mossy, Chadbourne, and others, tropacocaine is not half as toxic f as cocaine. Anesthesia from it sets in more rapidly and lasts longer ’V than with cocaine. It causes much less hyperemia than does co- ■ caine. The activity of its solution is retained for two to three Y months.
