White, granni.av powd.; slightly bitter taste./r-.SoL. iu alcohol, 4 parts water. — Anthelmintic, Antinephritic, Tonic. —Uses: Nephritis, worms, rheumatism, gout, and chorea. Decreases albumin in urine, without diuresis. — Dose: 10—20 grn. (0.6—1.2 grm.); for worms, 80 grn. (2.0 grm.) twice daily for 5 days. Strontium Salicylate Merck. — Gryst. Sol. in about 20 parts water, in alcohol. — Antirheumatic, Tonic. — Uses: Rheumatism, gout, chorea, muscular pains, and pleurisy. Dose: 10—40 grn. (0.6—2.5 grm.). Strophantin Merck.
