    She Slory of he Home Continued HE entire estate is situate on high ground overlooking Joss Bay, with the North Foreland lighthouse in the distance. It is within comfortable walking distance of the town, and for those who prefer to ride, there is a convenient bus service. HE sights, sounds and scents of the country-side in conjunction with the bracing, health-giving properties of sea air make a perfect environ- ment for rest and recovery which, together with an exceptionally high- standard cuisine and the kindly understanding of the Matron and Staff, works wonders in the rehabilitation of the guests. HILE the Home functions primarily for the Society’s members, other guests are accepted when accommodation allows, by special arrangement with certain hospitals, other Friendly Societies and similar benevolent organisations. ROM the numerous letters of appreciation constantly being received by the Society, it is evident that those who stay at this Home for convalescence derive great benefit to their health and much pleasure from the many amenities provided. ‘““Convalescing in Contentment ”’ is the key-note of the Home 24
