    , [ *° ] (Quarterly Meetings, but the Accounts to be paffed and figned by the Directors annually. A Number of fuch Directors, not lefs than Fifteen, to be appointed at each Quarterly Meeting, fhall, by agreement amongft them- felves, be divided into Committees, confiding of a proper Number, and to meet Weekly at the Hofpital, in order to infpedt and ex¬ amine the Proceedings there, and to enforce the Rules, Orders, and Regulations, fo to be made for the Government thereof. At fuch Quarterly Meetings, the Directors, with the Concurrence of a Juftice of Peace, to afcertain the Sum necefiary to be raifed upon each Parifh, Townfhip or Place, within their Diftridt, for the fucceeding Quarter, and to iflue their Warrants, under Seal of the Corporation, to the Churchwardens and Over- feers of the Poor of every fuch Parifh, Town- iliip or Place, requiring fuch Sum to be paid to the Treafurer for fuch Diftri<d, the fame to be raifed by Taxation in the like Man¬ ner as the Poors Rates are now levied. The Directors to make an Allowance to fome neighbouring Clergyman of the Church of England, for vifiting the Sick, inftrutfting the Perfons in fuch Houfes in the Principles of the Chriftian Religion, and performing other Offices of his Function there; and alfo to fome Apothecary to attend the Sick. Poor Perfons refufing to Work in fuch Houfes, or being guilty of any immoral, indecent.
