The Directors ffiall choole by Ballot a Treafurer, Clerk, Governor, Matron and fuch other Officers, from time to time, as (hall be found neceffary for carrying the Afi into Exe¬ cution, and to allow them proper Salaries out of the Money to be raifed and collected under the Authority of the Act. The Directors fo to be defied to continue for Two Years, and then new ones to be defied in the fame Manner every Year after¬ wards. Any Seven or more of the Direfiors to be a Committee to direfi and fuperintend the Buildings, to give Orders for railing and pay¬ ing of Money, and they are to caufe their Proceedings and Accounts to be regularly entered in Books to be kept for that Purpofe. If any Direfior dies, the Guardians may fill up the Vacancy upon proper Notice to be given for that Purpofe, The Guardians and Direfiors at all Meet¬ ings to bear their own Charges. Any Officer who fhall embezzle or mifap- ply any of the Money or Goods belonging to the Corporation, ffiall be difeharged from his Office, forfeit Ten Pounds, and treble the Value of the Money or Goods fo embezzled.
