    This fragment contains the Vanaushadhivarga, 7.e., the fourth varga of the second Kanda, with the commentary of Bhanuji Dikshita. Colophon of the text :—Iti Vanaushadhivargah. Colophon of the commentary :—Iti Vanaushadhivivaranam. This part, which was finished by Sir William Jones on the 18th September 1792 at “ Crishna-nagara,” is described by him as “a gram- — matical comment on the Botanicai chapter of the Amarcosh.” No. XII. W.42c. The same work Fol]. 108. Four lines ina page. Text only. Complete. Good Bengali writing, on Indian paper. Fairly correct. Size Crm. 47 x 8. Colophon of the first Kanda (210): — Iti patalavargah. Ityamarasimhakritau namalinganusasane svaradikandah prathamah sanga eva samanvitah. Colophon of the second Kanda (736) :— Iti bhivargah. Ityamarasimhakritau namalinganusasane (s7zc) bhukando nama dvitiyah sanga eva samanvitah. Colophon of the third Kanda (1074) :— Ityamarasimhakritau namalinganusasane samanyakandastritiyah sanga eva samanvitah. Iti lingadisangrahah. Then follow these lines :— Padmani bodhayatyarkah kavyani kurute kavih, tatsaurabham nabhasvantah santas tanvanti tadgunan. This MS. differs from the ordinary texts of the Medinikoga in haying a kshantavarga at the end, although the. kshantas have been already included under sh.
