    EATON GRANGE During the past twelve months I have conducted weekly services, including an address, at Eaton Grange and have visited each of the patients afterwards. I have been much helped in the taking of services by Miss Alice Harvey of 300 Unthank Road, Norwich, one of the parishioners of Christ Church, Eaton, who has throughout the year voluntarily given her services as pianist. I find the patients appreciative, friendly ?jid in the majority of cases, responsive to such spiritual and pastoral help as I am able to offer them . They now attend Matins and Evensong every Sunday at Christ Church and several of them make their Communion at the 9.0 a.m. Eucharist once a month. I 'would like to see some of them more frequently at the Holy Communion. Five patients are at present attending weekly classes in preparation for Confirmation shortly before Easter 1951. I am pleased to find that several others, already confirmed themselves, also voluntarily attend every class. These are being encouraged to act as ’pilots' or sponsors to individual candidates so as to give them a. personal part and interest in the work of preparation. The Eaton Toe H. Branch, of which I am also Chaplain, continues to provide -weekly film shows- rand monthly variety concerts, which are much appreciated. It is noticeable that under the care of the Matron and her staff, there is a.happy and well-ordered atmosphere at Eaton Grange. SIDNEY LONG.
