![Hen. VIII. (The 1802, 1803, 1804, and 1812 Acts are verbally amended.) In force. 1890. S3 Vic.,, c. 8.—Customs and Inland Revenue Act. Relates to licences. In force. 1 1890- 53 & 54 Vic-, c. 21.—Inland Revenue Regulation Act. Amends the law relating to procedure for penalties. Mostly in force. 1891. 54 & 55 Vic, c. 38.—Stamp-duties Management Act. Consoli- dates the law relating to the management of stamp-duties. (In this the 1870 Act is repealed, three sections of the 1802 Act, and part of Section 2 and the whole of Section 3 of the 1812 Act.) In force. 1898. 61 & 62 Vic, c. 46.—Revenue Act. Sections 11 and 13 refer to forfeiture of used stamps, and extends to two years the time for apply- ing for allowance for spoiled stamps. In force. Thirty-seven sections or parts of sections of various Acts apply to the manufacture and sale of dutiable medicines, besides the schedule to the Act of 1812. In the following codification of these the sections are numbered with Roman letters, the statutory denomination immediately following in brackets-. The titles used are chiefly the rubrics given in the various Acts. The codification is naturally divided into four parts, which, with the summaries of section subjects, are as described in the summary of the sections given in this and the following page. Codification of the Statutes The text has been carefully connoted with the original printed Acts, and the sections are arranged as they might appear in a consolidated Act, the title being that of the 1812 Act, viz. : An Act to amend an Act passed in the Forty-fourth year of his Majesty's reign, for granting Siamp-dtities in Great Britain, so far. as regards the Duties granted on Medicines and on Licences for vending the same.
