Describe in words the course of the Rhine, mentioning the chief rivers which fall into it, and the chief towns upon its banks. 3. Explain the following terms: Arctic circle. Delta. Basin of a river. Isthmus. Cape. Watershed. 4. Name the chief mineral productions of England and Wales. Which of them are found south of a line drawn through London and Bristol? 5.
