Mr. Hulke said that he had no doubt that the species described by Prof. Seeley belongs to a genus distinct from Hydrosciurus. He compared the former with the Geckos in respect of their having bony scales. The Autuor stated that the distinction of the vertebrae had been rendered difficult through chemical action. He doubted as to the existence of scutes in the specimen.
