On pp. 133 and 135 are rough pen-drawings of a furnace and an alembic. Dated 1755 on the first page. This MS. contains a remarkable collection of receipts and 'secrets' in medicine, alchemy and chemistry: it includes also a few magical processes, and receipts for varnishes and dyes, etc. The receipts on the last leaf of text are by a different hand.
