During the year 1 notice under Section 110 of the Factories Act, 1937, was received. The premises were inspected and found to be in a satisfactory condition. Means of Escape in Case of Fire. Under the provisions of Section 34 (1) factories of certain categories are now required to be certified by the Council as having adequate means of escape in case of fire. Five Certificates were issued during the year.
