![Take Oil of Sweet Almonds and Syrup of Maidenhair, of each two Ounces : White Sugar Candy, Half an Ounce. Mix and make a Lindus. One large Spoonful to b§ - taken every four Hours. Obfervations. Thefe are given to thicken lharp Rheums that prick and ftimulate the Fibres of the Larynx, and by their Irritation excite a fre* quent and troublefome Cough. They are bal- famick, pedoral, and agglutinant. Linftus Peftoralis. R Syr. Capill. Ven. Ol. Amygd. Dulc. aa §ij. Sacchar. Alb. %]. Spir. Sulph. gutt. x. m. f. Lindus. \The Peftoral Linftus. Take Syrup of Maidenhair and Oil of Sweet Almonds, of each two Ounces: Loaf Sugar, One Drachm : Spirit of Sulphur, ten Drops. Mix and make a Lindus, Ohfervations.
