The description is compiled from the diagnosis of Dr. Montandon and from the figure here reproduced. Fig. •2.~Crato}]lati/s gesiroi. Genus TARICHEA. Tarichea, Stal, Ann. Soc. Ent. Fr. (4; v, p. 163 (I860). Type, T. chinensis, Dall., a Chinese species. Distribution. North India and China. Body broad, ovate and very convex above, beneath flat. Head broad, its disk concave, before the eyes couvexly rounded ; lateral lobes meeting in front of the central lobe; eyes transverse ; ocelh a little nearer to the eyes than to each other. Pronotum with the anterior lateral margins convexly dilated; scutellum reachmg the apex of the abdomen. Legs short. 3. Tarichea nitens, Dall. (Plataspis) List Hem. 1 p. 74. 7 (1851) ; Stal, En.
