Haftaz al-Kuhen b. Al-'Attar al-Isra'ili-al-Haruni, an author of the seventh century a.h. See Brock i., 492 j and Haji Khalifa, v. 202. The first folio is wanting. The twenty-third Bab contains his pious admonitions to his son concerning morality and the preparation of medicines. It was composed in a.h. 658 = a.d. 1260. An incomplete copy of this work is noticed in the Brit. Mus. Sup. Cat., No. 801, ii. Our copy, except wanting a few lines in the beginning, is otherwise complete.
