    Notifications. During 1942, 1,043 cases of ‘tuberculosis were notified, compared with 1,036 in the previous year. Eight hundred and forty-six were cases of pulmonary disease and 197 of other forms of, tuberculosis. The attack rates per 1,000 of the population for the last 18 years are shown in Table 4. It will be noted that this year’s figures are the highest since at least 1938. “TABLE 4.
