![magnificent palaces, and above almoát every house of the town there ¿lands a tower. We ¿layed in Genoa some days and then went over to Savona where v/e saw [Benedict XIII whose surname is Luna the Spanish Anti]-Pope with whom we had business, but next returned. From Genoa finally on Monday the i¿l of February we set sail in a ship of which the captain was Messer Biemboso Barbero, but our voyage again was beset with slorm and contrary winds, worse even than what we had suffered heretofore: so that it laáted from that firát day of February when we put out from Genoa till Sunday the [7th] of March when we landed at San Lucar: and went up to the city of Seville. It was after this that on a Monday the [22nd] of March, in the year of Our Lord one thousand four hundred and six that we Ambassadors finally reached Alcalá de Henares where we found our lord King Henry III of Caálile.9 Laus Deo and thus ends the Chronicle of the great Timur, and the Itinerary of the voyage made by the Spanish Ambassadors sent to him by that most serene King Henry, surnamed the Invalid, together with the true account of all the notable events and marvellous sights met with in the Eaát.
