The Stichting Koningin Wilhelmina Fonds voor de Nederlandse Kankerbestrijding was founded in 1948 to mark the golden jubilee of Queen Wilhelmina. In 2007 the name KWF Kankerbestrijding was adopted (website of KWF Kankerbestrijding)
