![[ ^ ] antimonial preparations, may be taken to advantage. Externally, Hungary water fhould be apphed as a collyrium. In cafes of relaxation, the bark bids fair to be ufeful. I have often prefcribed copper, or a folution of Roman vitriol, ufed externally as a collyrium, and thefe, with the affif- tance of country air and exercife, I have frequently found fuccefsfuh For inflammation of the eye-lids, the fofter animal oils may often prove advan- tageous, thofe of poultry, perhaps, more particularly fo; or if thefe cannot be procured, the vegetable oils, free from rancidity, and formed into an ointment with white wax, may be ufed with equal advantage.
