The waters are useful for the same class of cases as mentioned in connection with the Homburg waters. The season is from May to the end of September. Baden-Baden (Grand Duchy of Baden). The waters are hot (1203 to 150° F.). Altitude about 650 feet. Baths, douches, and electric baths are provided. The waters are useful in the treatment of gastro-intestinal catarrh and sluggish conditions of the liver. Open all the year, but the sea- son is from the beginning of May to the end of October. During July and the first half of August Baden-Baden is very hot. Nauheim (Germany). The waters are warm (82° to 95° F.). Altitude about 400 feet. This spa is specially known for its baths in connection with the treatment of various affections of the heart. Two of the waters are somewhat similar in com- position to the Homburg water, and may be em- ployed in the treatment of gouty dyspepsia. The season is from May to the end of September. Llandrindod (Wales, Radnorshire). The waters are cold. Altitude 700 feet. Baths are provided. Muriated waters, sulphur waters, and weak chaly- beate waters are found at Llandrindod.
