Letter from J B S Haldane to E L Tanner, UCL Secretary, dated 20 Jan 1941 enclosing a cheque for £200 and asking for £100 to be paid to Dr Kalmus whose current grant expires in February. 
Letter from Tanner to Haldane dated 23 Jan 1941 dealing with the matters raised by Haldane in his letter of 20 Jan 1941, and advising that The Rockefeller Foundation wish to have information in late spring concerning Haldane's needs for the allocation of £1000, and a report on the department's work. 
Letter from Haldane to Tanner dated 1 Feb 1941 reporting on staff costs and providing an outline of estimated income, also enclosing a breakdown of estimated expenditure until June 1941. 
Letter from Tanner to Haldane dated 26 Mar 1941 enclosing a statement of expenditure and balance remaining after deductions. Letter from Haldane to Tanner on the reverse dated 25 Apr 1941 regarding payments to Dr Kalmus and Mr Rendel, money for apparatus and the security of the college buildings.
