![(3) DEATHS.—The total number of dea;ths registered for the year was 144. This gives a death-rate of 19.0 per 1,000 ])er annum. It shows an increase of 3.4 per 1,000 over the pre- vious year’s figure 15.6 per 1,000), and an increase of 2.7 per 1,C00 over the average rate (16.3 per 1,000) for the previous ten years. Analysing the total number of deaths we find the causes v\ ere:— Males.
