The “ German ” or Pure Oral System teaches spoken and written language to the Deaf and “Dumb.” It dispenses entirely with signs and the finger alphabet, and with the neces- sity in after-life of using pencil and tablets. Lip-reading taught to persons becoming deaf in adult life. The Training College and School of the Society is situated at Castlebar Hill, Ealing, Middlesex.
