Pneumonia caused 925 deaths or 11 7 per cent, of the total number of deaths registered in the citj, and exclusive of 202 deaths of non-residents in hospitals the percentage corrected for non-residents was the same. Diarrhoea and enteritis caused 846 deaths and dysentery 163 or a total of 1,009 deaths representing 12 7 per cent, of the total deaths, but exclusive of 198 deaths of non-residents in hospitals the percentage corrected for non-residents was 13*1.
