Dipsomania is, however, frequently entered in the books as being recovered from, but the recovery only lasts, with too many cases, while the patient is under care in an asylum. Of the cases of general para- lysis, one only is said to have recovered, and all the rest have been discharged, not improved, have died, or remain under treatment. XII. Duration of Attack.
