E. fed has 3 manfiones clamat W. pro duabus.—modo “ tenet Dodoman pro 5 hidis, & habet in d’nio 1 virgatam, 4 agros, & 2 carr. Ibi funt 1 bord. & “ 2 villani & 2 cotarii, & 2 fervi. molendinum 76 nummor’. habet 4 agros nemoris & dim. 10 “ agros prati & 8 quadrag’ pafturae & dim. long, et totidem. lat. valet 60 fol. Orda. “ Non poteft feparari a fervitio regis.” Ragintona “ modo tenet Rodbertus Atillet: hanc adhuc habent illi tagni in d’nio.” Walter de Claville’s lands, Mordona gelded for 3 hides and a half, and half a virgate. This in Exchequer Domefday is called 3 hides and 2 virgates, and half a virgate. Hugh fil’ Grip’s wife’s lands. Ceofelburne. “ Quando Hugo earn ajjumpjit.” In Stafort the two manors are ftated feparately, & the fmaller was held T. R. E. by Levingus. Mordona and Hame were held of her by William Chernet. Exchequer Domefday makes the latter holden by the fame William who held Winburne, which in this is holden by William dc Crencto. Bere and Pomacnolle were held by William de Monajleriis. Pidela, as alfo Swanwic and Torna, by Walter 'Tonitruus. This record adds here under the firft article “ unus ortus qui nunquam gildavit, fed celatum eft.” Ad Brigam of the Exchequer Domefday is here made incorrectly one word Adbriga, and was holden T. R.
