That as foon as a patient is admitted, upon the recommendation of a fiibfcriber, a letter (hall be fent to Inch fiibfcriber, notifying whether the perfoii re- commended has been received as an in or out-patient.— (See appendix, No. '].) 21. That whenever there is want of room in the In- firmary for the admiflion of the whole number of patients judged proper, according to the rules of the charity, to te made in-patients, preference fhall be given, in the firfl place, to thofe whofe cafes admit of leafh delay, and next, to thofe who live at the greateft diftance from the Infirmary : and that proper objefts who cannot be admit- •ted in-patient's for want of room, fhall be entered in the books as such, and afterwards received into the houfe by the matron, on the firll vacancy ; but, in the mean time,, they fhall be treated as out-patients; and the recommen- ders fhall be informed by letter from the fecretary, of the caufe of delaying the admiflion of fuch patients.-—(^5fC appendixt No. B J 22.
