Perfons meeting with fudden accidents.are ad- mitte-d at any hour of the day or night, aa in or out- patients, without recommendation. 3d'. Patients muft be fent as clean as poffible, and wiih proper changes of linen : and chirurgical patients,, when bandages and dreffings are necelTary, fliould bring along with them old linen, if they can procure it. 4th. No woman big with child ; no child under feven years of age, except when a furgical operation is requir- ed ; no perfons afflifted with infanity, labouring un- der fmall-pox, meafles, or infeftious fevers; affllfted with cancers not admitting of operation, or labour- ing under fcrophula of a high taint, (unlefs when fpme important operation is required ;) no perfons in the laft ftage of confumption, heftic fever, or dropfy ; afflid:. ed with palfy, proceeding from a worn-out conftitution, or from the decay of old age j judged to be. incurable^
