    The following- prescriptions of antiseptic tooth-powders and mouth washes are largely based upon those formu- lated by Dr. Miller. These prescriptions may be used habitually; and those containing potent antiseptics, like perchloride of mercury, are specially intended for use where highly septic conditions exist as, for example, in pyorrhoea alveolaris.
