![speaking from confirmed experience,—deserves not to partake of those comforts which the re-establishment of the system would in¬ fallibly produce. Extraff of c i.-iterfrom Mr. Cooper, a •very refyeSlable Gentleman Farmer, at Covington, near I j'lvich, to Tv r. T. White, Majier of the Academy at Colchefer. Dear Sir, fune 2, 1801, When you write to Dr. Brodum, pray infom him, that I have received from his Me¬ dicines, all the benefit my mpft fanguine expectations could lead me to look for, or, my molt earneft withes could induce me to hope. My cafe was an irruption on my face, of the molt virulent nature, that was not merely extremely troublefome, but alfo rendered me excehively low fpirited and ill. I ftriCtly followed the rules laid down in the Doctor’s publication, and was in a fhort time molt radically cured ; it is now nearly two years lince I took the Medicines, and have never fince had the flighted return of my trouble¬ fome diforder. I feel it a duty which I owe to the community (and I am fere your juit mode of thinking will induce you to1 join in the fentiment) that the DoCtor fhouid be at liberty to make this cafe public, for the benefit of fullering individuals ; being myfelf in¬ finitely above regarding any remarks that may be made on it by the infolent, the invidious, or the incredulous. Your’s fincerely, J. COOPER.. SIR, London, Nov. i, 1799. IT is but juftice I fhouid inform you that during my lad voyage from Eng¬ land to the IVeft-indies I was very'- much troubled with a BILIOUS COM¬ PLAINT, which affeCled me to an alarming degree, fortunately apalfenger of mine had fomeof your Nervous Cordial on board, and was perfuaded by him to make trial of a bottle, which I did, and to my utter aftomlhment round alrnoft inftantaneous relief, and have never fince been troubled with the above complaint ; as inch I fhall recommend your Medicines to ail my friends, both in England and the Wejt-Indies. I am, Sir, your truly obliged humble Servant, W. BUTLER. No. 9, Frospcdi-Elace, Deck-head. Cap. of the Olive-Branch IVeft-Indiman, MARRIAGE and AL HAPPINESS. f V How many men, to all appearance in the prime of life, who have not yet arrived at the age of 25 years, are rendered miserable to themselves and useless to the great chain of society, which they have either brought on themselves, or, by the force of bad example, are given up to a SECRET VICE; the consequence is, that their 'mikf! as well as body is debilitated ; to those the Nervous Qcrdial is recommended, and for which Dr. Brodum obtained HIS M/\]FS- TY’S ROYAL LETTERS PATENT ; it will protect them from the infirmities of old age and a wretched dissolution. Amidst the agonizing reflections of conscious guilt, how many are there of both sexes, that are deterred from entering into a married state, by infir¬ mities which delicacy forbids them to disclose; and those are not a few, who being already married, are rendered miserable for yvant of those tender pleasures of mutual love, without which happiness this state is at least very precarious , The BOTANICAL SY- Rl P and NERVOUS CORDIAL have both stood the test of the first Medical Men in England, and the greatest Professors in Physic of the present age ; and for which his Majesty granted his Royal Let¬ ters Patent; thus sanctioned, Dr. Brodum is bold in holding forth to the world the above two unrivalled Medicines, which is the fruit of close and studious application, for upwards ef 28 years. All kinds of DEBILITY, whether arising from the HABITS of SCHOOL BOYS, or the INDULGENCE of MATURE AGE, which render men miserable, and makes them unfit to enjoy the BleJJings of Society, and mere fo that of the marriedstate, the .BOTANICAL SYRUP wih remove ; the good effects of which thousands have experienced and numbers have testified.](https://iiif.wellcomecollection.org/image/b30354596_0007.jp2/full/800%2C/0/default.jpg)
