    ] 3 REPORT OP THE COMMISSIONERS IN LUNACY, Dated October 5th, I860. Since the last Commissioners^ visit, on the 29th July, 1859, the changes in the patients have been as follows :— Admitted Discharged Of whom Recovered Died Male. Female. Tolal. 14 ... 32 ... 46 9 ... 28 ... 37 7 ... 21 ... 28 3 ... 5 ... 8 Of the female patients discharged not recovered, 8 were removed to Fisherton House. With one exception the deaths were from ordinary causes; the exception was in the case of a male patient, who cut his throat with his shoemaker’s knife.
