![The above, and the following four numbers, were pub lished by Thomas Tegg of 111, Cheapside, and sold at ont shilling for each coloured drawing. No. 104 is ' Off She Goes'. Avery stout woman, who is about to elope with a young officer, falls to the ground from the ladder leaned against the window. An old man wearing a nightcap is leaning out of the window with a candle in his hand. The driver of the stage coach is laughing. No. 105 is entitled 'Neighbourly Refreshment'. A young man and a young woman bend through half-open doors, kissing. The young man is hanging up a birdcage with his right hand, while his left is in the girl's bosom. Behind him stands an old woman, behind the girl an old man. A dog is attacking a cock engaged with a hen. No. 106 is 'A Spanish Cloak'. Sentry and a young woman. An old officer comes round the corner, surprising them. Finally, No. 107 is 6 Puss in Boots, or General Junot Taken by Surprise'. This shows a young girl brandishing a sword in the middle of a tent, and a man in bed apparently calling for help. In addition to the drawings enumerated here, all of which appeared as etchings, Thomas Rowlandson drew countless erotic and obscene drawings and sketches, all of which were executed with the same graceful touch. The majority of these works are in the possession of English collectors, in the British Museum and in the South Kensington Museum. The following eight Rowlandson etchings have been described in detail by Pisanus Fraxi: L A naked girl lying under a tree, resting her head on a tambourine. Two naked children, one kneeling and playing the flute, the other, who is winged, is dancing and also playing a flute and beating a tambourine. 2. Fourteen couples round a table.
