Comprises documents concerning the imprisonment of Archibald Cameron in the Tower of London prior to his execution for participating in the 1745 rebellion, including:

  • MS.6893/1: Demand of the Constable of the Tower, Charles Earl Cornwallis (1700-1762) for contingent disbursements 1751-54, and for the safekeeping of Archibald Cameron. With a referral to the Lords Commissioners of the Treasury from the Court of St. James (25 February 1755).
  • MS.6893/2: Warrant for payment of disbursements and bill for safekeeping, authorized by the Lords Justices and directed to the Treasury Commissioners (12 June 1755).
