Lettering

St. Patrick's Day with the wounded from the front: in the hospital at Pietermaritzburg drawn by R. W. Macbeth, A.R.A. from a sketch by Agnes M. Johnstone Lettering continues: "Some 1,200 men were in hospital at Pietermaritzburg on St. Patrick's Day, and a large part of them Irish. Every effort was made to render the day happy for them ... girls of the College, dressed in white, waited on the soldiers, who seemed to enjoy themselves thoroughly."
