    Tres coiigios ferventis destillatse Aqiife. Three gallons of boiling distilled Water. Libram praeparatse Cretse, Pound of jjrepared Chalk, Libram sulplmrici Acidi; Pound of sulphuric Acid; Coqiie Supertartratem Potassse cum duobus congiis Boil Supertartrate ofPotassa with two gallons destillatse aquae, et adjice paulatim prasparatam of distilled water, and thrown to by little and little prepared Cretan!, donee bullulae excitentur non amplius; Chalk, until little bubbles may be excited no more ; sepone ut Tartras Calcis subsidat, effundeliquorem, place apart that Tartrate of Lime may subside, pour out liquor, et ablue saepius Tartratem Calcis destillata Aqu^ and wash very often Tartrate of Lime with distilled Water donee sit expers saporis. Tumsuperinfundedilutum imtil it may be without oftaste. Then pour on diluted Bulphuricuin Acidum congio ferventis destillatse Aquae, sulphuric Acid to gallon of boiling distilled Water, et sepone per viginti quatuor horas, subinde and place apart through twenty-four hours, now and then agitans.
