Take Pound of impure Soda rubbed into powder, Quatuor octarios ferventis destillatae Aquae ; Four pints of boiling distilled Water; Coque Sodam in Aqua per dimidiam liorain et cola. Boil Soda in Water through half hour and strain. Vaporet haec ad duos octarios, et seponatur Let evaporate this to two pints, anct let it be placed apart ut crystalli fiant.
