    2ath.—Complains of pain in his head, a pain in tlio region of the liver, was purged 10 times last night, passed some blood, his pulse is regular, and his tongue white. Continue. 3ii. unguent, mere, bis die alFricetur. 26^/i.—^Pain in his head a little easier, side not easier, had six stools in the night, pulse regular, tongue white round the edge, clean in the middle. Continue cal. pil. et ungt. 21th.—His pains in the side are easier, he has had a flow of saliva, rested a little in the fore part of the night, has had four stools through the night. ]go Decoct, cort. Ifess. Elix. vitriol, acid. 5ss. Tinct. opii. 3i. % iii. ter. die. capd. 8 p. M.—He has violent contractions in his limbs which are very cold, and has not been able to speak, his pulse very slow. Spt. vol. aromat. 3ii. Tinct. opii. 3ss. Aq. menthrn 5i. Statim. Warm bath. 2%th.—His pulse is a little better to-day, can speak a little, has a pain across his abdomen, extremities a little warmer, contractions gone off. 2 P. M.—He is better. M.—He says he is better, his pulse is regular, has had a full flow from the salivary glands, says he was taken suddenly ill yesterday as he was walking and carried to his cot, has had two stools to-day.
