![No case of overcrowding was met with in any of the houses inspected in connection with cases of infectious disease. Small-pox.—No cases of small-pox occurred in the district during 1937. The number of contacts reported from other districts has fallen to a remarkable degree within the past few years, it being now a rare occurrence to receive notification of the existence within the Borough of such contacts. Vaccination.—No primary vaccinations or re-vaccinationg under the Public Health (Smallpox Prevention) Regulations, 1917, were required during 1937. Scarlet Fever.—Sixty-one cases of scarlet fever were notified during the year, as against 74 in 1936. 58](https://iiif.wellcomecollection.org/image/b19794940_0060.jp2/full/800%2C/0/default.jpg)
