Duties of 31. — During outbreaks of Medical Officers. p]ao-ue the duties of the Medical Officers are usually divided as follows :— In Mudiria Towns. The mudiria Inspector takes charge of the erection of the plague hospital and the organization of the disinfection service. The hospital Medical Officer inspects the dead and attends to the plague hospital. The markaz Medical Officer inspects the dead in the surrounding villages. Special Medical Officers supervise disinfection and inspect contacts daily. In smaller lawns and Villages. The markaz Medical Officer inspects the dead in the markaz town and traces contacts. Special Medical Officers supervise disinfection, inspect contacts daily, inspect dead in wide areas, and attend to the plague hospital. The various duties should be specially assigned to the different Medical Officers in order that there may be no confusion.
