    ARRANGEMENT OF LABORS. FOUR CLASSES. I. Natural. II. Difficult. HI. Preternatural. IV. Anomalous, or Complex. [Labors may be divided into two classes. Eutocia.—Natural Labor. Dystocia.—Preternatural Labor. M. R.] Class L Eutocia.—Natural Labor. Character.—Every labor in which the pro- cess is completed within 24 hours, the head of the child presenting, and no adventitious assistance being required. [Parturition is a function which consists in the expulsion of the foetus and its append- ages from the womb of the woman, at the full term of utero-gestation. Every labor which terminates spontane-
