The following are among the advantages which this Company offers to the Insuring Public :— Ist, The Rates of Premium, especially for ages under fifty, are the Jowest ever hitherto published, in proof of which a comparison is confi- peety invited with Aa Tables of any other Office in the United King- om. 2dly, The facilities afforded to all classes of insurers, by having it in their power to adopt either an even rate for life, an ascending scale, or a descending scale, as may suit the convenience of parties; or further, | an alternative plan, by which one-third of the even rate of premium (on policies for the whole of life) mayremain unpaid, and be dedueted from the sum insured at the end of life, with interest at the rate of four per | cent. . 3dly, The adaptation of the tables to any service, or to any country in the world ; and it will be found that in foreign insurances, also, the extra rates charged are considerably lower than those of other ofiices. 4thly, The msurance of persons of advanced age. and also the under- taking of risks that might be rejected by other Oftices, at rates founded upon the ascertained decrement of life by the various diseases peculiar and incidental to different climates. . 5thly, The great facility afiorded for the transfer of policies, the Directors, instead of requiring assignments of these to be executed, in every case issuing a new policy in name of the intended assignee, on surrendering the former, and merely paying the price ot the new stamp.
