I an- fwered him, That I fear’d they would find them- felves again Miftaken as to the Surgery Part; and that as to the dMercury, tho’ a good Me¬ dicine, He knew he had taken it already feverai Times, without any confiderable Advantage. The Dr. Smiled and faid, <cBut fince 1 came ^fo far for Advice, I will not only give them a u Tooth, but alfotry again what Effect Mercury u may have. Another Meeting was order’d, and the Tooth- Drawer to be there: Upon Drawing the Tooth, it appear’d to be very Sound. The Firfl Dofe he took of Mercury, whether by Cold, or any other Accident, l know not; very much Dif- order’d him.
