Here, maybe, is an opportunity to provide a suitable memorial to their name —a method of ensuring future annual income—there being no more fitting manner of perpetuating a revered memory than by naming and endowing a Bed or Cot upon which many a suffering patient would find relief and solace, and none probably would be more after the heart of the loved one whose name it would bear. A STAINED gl ass window or a marble tablet gratifies the beholder with their inherent beauty of colour and form. Beyond this they are unproductive. Their cost would frequently endow a charitable work beautiful in its conception, with the added blessing of being useful in ministering to the needs of the sick poor.
